I am a Ph.D. student at UC San Diego, advised by Prof. Xiaolong Wang and mentored by Dr. Nicklas Hansen. My research is supported by the NDSEG Fellowship. Prior to starting my PhD, I worked as a Research Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, where I was primarily mentored by Dr. Cale Crowder. I received my Bachelors in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science & Technology.

I am broadly interested in decision making, sequence prediction, and their intersection. Within this scope, I like to focus on algorithmic innovation: designing robust, general-purpose methods for inducing strong decision-making agents in arbitrary environments. In practice, this has led me to work with large models as general-purpose interfaces to diverse domains and environments, along with various flavors of reinforcement learning, representation learning, and self-supervised learning.
